Airship pilot's log book, 3 photographs, commission certificate, Army character forms, very brief pocket diary of Army and RFC/RAF service (1918) and cutting relating to his death in 1963.

Percival Stafford White was born at Halcombe, Manawatu on 28 September 1889. He served as an Acting Corporal in the NZ Provost Corps from 12 October 1915 and was wounded on 8 June 1917 in France.

He was commissioned in 1918, transferred to the Royal Flying Corps and trained RNAS Roehampton, learning to fly balloons. He then moved to Kilinghome and trained to fly airships in 1918, completing a number of convoy patrols and escorts over the North Sea.
