Description:

Court St Andrews of the Ancient Order of Foresters was established in Dunedin in 1875. Like other branches of this old English friendly society, it supplied financial benefits to members in need as well as convivial social meetings. From 1985, with membership declining, Court St Andrews met jointly with Court Pride of the Leith. In 1997 three other Dunedin Courts - Little John, Woodlands Pride and Excelsior - joined these meetings, the group becoming known as Dunedin Combined Courts.

Scope and contents:

The collection includes minutes, financial records, rules and rituals, United Otago District records, photographs, sashes, and a few miscellaneous items.
