Description:

US Army Air Forces Air Transport Command air ticket issued to Flying Officer John Hay, RNZAF, for a flight from RAF Station Pershore, England, to Rabat, Morocco.

Ticket is in the form of an envelope with instructions and in-flight rules printed on the outside.

Note inside envelope marked "SECRET" and stamped by No. 1 Ferry Unit, RAF, 13 September 1944. Specifies instructions for a Beaufighter aircraft to be ferried from RAF Pershore in England to Rabat airfield in Morocco for the Mediterranean Allied Air Forces (MAAF), by Flying Officers John Hay and J. A. Hicks. States that the pilot (Hay) is to remain overseas to be posted to the Middle East while the Navigator (Hicks) is to return to England.
