Material gathered by Bernard Gadd, used to create a printed
version of ‘Manukau in Poetry’, (Manukau in Poetry, ed. Bernard Gadd, Bruce Ringer, Melissa Steiner; Papatoetoe; Hallard Press, 2004). This anthology was conceived by Bernie Gadd as the result of his and Bruce Ringer’s online anthology ‘Manukau in Poetry’. The work represents the City of Manukau. The poems include work by 34 poets who were or are residents, workers in or visitors to the city, or use the city and environs as the setting for their work.
It includes both previously published and unpublished work.
The material includes papers (correspondence between Bernie Gadd and the authors, author biographies, newspaper cuttings), and records (printing, publishing and financial details).

Also included with these records is material gathered by Bruce Ringer during the development of the online anthology “Manukau in Poetry”. This site
