The Abortion Law Reform Association of New Zealand was
formed in Auckland in August 1970 to seek the reform of the law in NZ
re unwanted pregnancies. The national office later moved to
Wellington and Branches were established in Auckland, Hamilton,
Tauranga, Hastings, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Wairarapa,
Wellington, Nelson, Greymouth, Christchurch, and Dunedin.
