Pilot's log books (4), photographs (8) and other papers relating to the Air Transport Auxiliary service of Betty Beaumont (nee Black) 1942-1946.

Betty Black learned to fly at the Taeri Aero Club in 1935. After service as a WAAF at Rongotai in 1941, she joined the ATA in Britain and served as a ferry pilot until 1946. She remained in Britain, only returning to settle in Nelson in the 1960s. the Museum also holds her medals.
