North Otago Museum Archive

Waitaki District Archive was created and launched in 1987 to recognise a need to protect the valuable documentary material and records of Waitaki District. The Archive has grown over the years and now collects important records about the community of Waitaki District. These records include photographs, records of local clubs and societies, records of local businesses and individuals, local school records and newspapers.

Opening hours:

Access to our Reference library and resources is available from Open Monday to Friday from 1pm – 4.30pm. Closed weekends and public holidays. Assistance and physical access to Archive records is provided.
