Harsant married soon after and went to live in Hahei, Coromandel in 1918.

Scope & Contents

Also contains a manuscript entitled "My everyday life as travelling organiser for Maori Women on behalf of the Women's Christian Temperance Union", a narrative based on diaries of a journey, mostly on horseback, through the Bay of Islands, East Coast and Wanganui River regions in 1913 as campaigner for the WCTU.
