Description:

Edwin Blyth Buckhurst opened The Radio Warehouse in the 1920s. It was located at 223 Manchester Street, remaining in business throughout the Second World War.

These papers relate mainly to The Radio Warehouse, consisting of correspondence, financial records, licences, price lists, stock lists, minutes of meetings, working drawings and notes, a milage book, publications and Telcon R F Cable samples.

There is also correspondence from the War Assets Realisation Board.

Some personal papers of Buckhurst are also included, as are a large number of sympathy letters and telegrams sent to his mother Isobel and his sister Joyce after his death.
