Background information
The club was established at a meeting of the Otahuhu sub-club of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club. At the formation of the club Messrs W. W. Massey, MP was appointed as patron and office holders and those present included Messrs F. W. Grey; C Porter; A. Andrews; W. Whitmore; W. Arnold; W. White; F. Arnold; J. Clark; T. Faithfull; A. Murdoch; J. A. Sinclair; W. Kirkwood and Mr Herbie Towers. The club applied for Incorporation on the 1st of November 1949 and during the 1950s became know as the Otahuhu Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club Incorporated.

9 books, one box containing two folders and certificates, one display board Condition Older books are in poor condition with detached spines, discolouration, insect damage, foxing and fading and pin holes. Minute books from 1952 onwards are in good condition. Boxed items with certificates, meeting notes and correspondence are in very good condition.
