Brian McNeill is a writer, actor, and director. Author of 'The Two Tigers', a play about Katherine Mansfield (1974). Other plays include 'Twin Messiahs' (1982), 'The Naval Officer' (about Captain James Cook, first performed at Auckland's Mercury Theatre, 1979), 'The Ladies Man' (1988). Also wrote 'Shining Examples: A Childhood Memoir' (1995). He was Writer in Residence Fellow at the University of Canterbury in 1988.

Material includes published and unpublished playscripts. Also publicity material, reviews, and newspaper clippings.
