Supporting our Community - Christchurch Earthquake

The Community Archive Group, Wellington · 06 March 2011

Kia ora koutou katoa

Our thoughts are with everyone in Christchurch and throughout New Zealand as they cope with the aftermath of the earthquake on 22 February.

At this time, the first priority is people - looking after and supporting those affected. We expect it may be a long time before people return to their normal work, and start dealing with the impact of the earthquake on records and archives. However, when the time comes we want you to know that we are here to help. We can help with advice and guidance around how to deal with damaged, wet or dirty records and archives and with more general support.
