Archives New Zealand’s Community Archives Group would like to acknowledge the hard work that volunteers do within the archival community.
We are offering to pay the registration for one volunteer to attend the Archives and Records Association of New Zealand 2010 Conference in Wellington
on Thursday 26 to Friday 27 August 2010
If you would like to nominate a volunteer for this reward please email their name, the archival organisation they volunteer with, their contact details and a brief note saying why they should be selected, to Polly Martin, Senior Adviser: polly.martin@archives.govt.nz by Wednesday 11 August.
Archives New Zealand’s Acting Chief Executive and Chief Archivist Greg Goulding will draw the winning name on Wednesday 11 August.
The winning volunteer and their organisation will be informed on Thursday 12 August.
• The volunteer needs to be working for an archives or archival group to be eligible.
• The registration fee includes attendance at the conference from Thursday 26 August at 9am through to5pm Friday 27 August.
• It does not include accommodation; travel to and from the conference or attendance at the Welcome Cocktail Function, the Conference Dinner or the informal special group event.
